The idea of understanding and working with the elemental energies for healing, to restore balance and optimize well-being, is fundamental to many healing methodologies, including Traditional Chinese Medicine and 5 Elements Acupuncture.

The image above shows the 5 Elements according to this particular system — it’s a little different to what you might imagine.

Each element comes with its signature strengths and weaknesses, constitutional tendencies and predominant emotional responses.

It is very useful for you to know which element is dominant or out-of-balance in you (and your loved ones) at any given time, and how best to restore balance and well-being.

Which is why I invited a specialist, Crispin Gordon MBAcC LicAc BSc (Hons), to explain it all and give you his expert tips — especially in light of the current challenges.
